The two-time 1 Awards nominee impressed us again with another outstanding season on the diamond as a senior. Dame was 9-1 when taking the bump, striking out a whopping 132 batters in just 69.2 innings pitched with a 1.11 ERA. He also posted a .371 batting average with 44 RBI at the plate. Conway finished with a 28-4 record after falling to the eventual Class 3 state champs Mountain Grove in the quarterfinals.
Alex Moore, Mountain Grove – CLICK HERE FOR MORE ON MOORE

Moore helped deliver a state championship for the Panthers to cap off his senior year. He finished with an 8-2 record and a 2.15 ERA with 96 strikeouts in 68 innings. Moore also tossed 10 innings with 16 Ks, giving up just 1 earned run on 145 pitches in the Final Four on the way to Mountain Grove’s first-ever state title. The Panthers closed the season with 8-straight wins and finished 25-5.
Layn Hurst, Forsyth – CLICK HERE FOR MORE ON HURST

Hurst was a force at the plate and on the mound in his senior campaign. The slugger hit .537 with 7 homers, knocked in 45 runs and added 18 stolen bases just for good measure. As a pitcher, he tossed 63 innings and posted a 1.55 ERA with 68 strikeouts and finished with an 8-2 record. Forsyth lost to Conway in their district title game and finished the year 19-9.
Eli Hubbard, Stockton – CLICK HERE FOR MORE ON HUBBARD

Hubbard was a perfect 10-0 when he took the mound in 2016. He finished with a terrific 1.08 ERA in 59 innings pitched with 73 punch-outs. The senior led Stockton to a district title with a shut-out performance against Ash Grove in the district championship game before falling to Conway in the sectional round. Hubbard hit .429 and drove in 28 runs at the plate.
