KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In the fifth edition of the Coaches Top 25 poll released on Monday, Valor Football remained in the top 25 overall, moving up to #15 overall.
Evangel opened the season receiving votes, but after winning three consecutive games, moved to 25th in the nation. After recording a 59-42 victory over Saint Mary, Evangel moved up to 20th. A 27-21 victory over Ottawa pushed the Valor forward to 18th in the nation as Evangel remained at #18 after a 44-6 victory over Avila. After an Evangel bye week featured several top 20 teams losing, the Valor moved up to #15 in the national poll.
In the KCAC, Southwestern moved up to #6 in the most recent poll.
Valor Football takes on the Bethany Swedes this Saturday, October 14th in Lindsborg, Kansas at 1:30 p.m.
