The No. 1 seeded Kickapoo Chiefs rolled to a 78-32 opening round victory over Aurora to start play in the Gold Division of the Blue & Gold Tournament. Micah McIntire (15), Cross Elmquist (12) and Anton Brookshire (10) all scored in double figures for Kickapoo. Aurora was led by the trio of Jaesik Friggle, Clayton Reed, and Ryan Cline who all scored six points.
Kickapoo advances to face Skyline in the quarterfinals. Aurora will play Reeds Spring in the consolation quarterfinals.
