Kai Raymer joined the Ozarks Sports Zone staff in June 2012. Before that, he spent almost three years as sports editor of the Lake Sun in Camdenton.
Kai is a Parkview High School graduate who was born and raised in Springfield. He graduated from Missouri State University in 2009 with a degree in print journalism and a minor in history.
While at MSU, Kai was on the staff of the student newspaper (The Standard) for four years. He was the beat writer for the basketball Bears when they were left out of the NCAA Tournament in 2006 and 2007, and was also on-hand for many great Barry Hinson one-liners and tall tales.
As content coordinator for OzarksSportsZone.com, Kai will manage the freelance contributors as well as write and take photos for the website.
Away from the office, he enjoys playing basketball and following the Kansas City Chiefs.
