Republic rode its rushing attack to a 41-24 win over Webb City on Friday.
The Tigers rushed 64 times for 424 yards and only punted once.
Webb City got the ball to start the game, but the Republic defense stepped up and forced a punt.
Republic responded with an 11-play, 57-yard drive capped off by a seven-yard touchdown run by Presten McCracken.
Webb City responded with a nine-play, 71-yard drive that stalled out at the Republic 16-yard line forcing a field goal. Diego Aldrete hit from 26 yards to cut Republic’s lead to 7-3 with 1:10 left in the first quarter.

Republic put together an eight-play, 72-yard drive to finish the first quarter and start the second quarter. McCracken scored again, this time from eight yards out, and Republic led 14-3 with 9:40 left in the second quarter.
Webb City got rushing touchdowns from Mason Williams and Trae Turner sandwiched around a Matthew Pelfrey 11-yard touchdown run to send the game into the half at 21-17 in favor of Republic.
The third quarter only saw one score which came on a 36-yard run from McCracken making it 28-17.
McCracken rushed for two more fourth-quarter touchdowns to finish off Republic scoring.
For the game, McCracken carried the ball 27 times for 207 yards and five touchdowns. As a team, Republic had 62 carries for 424 yards.
Webb City was led by Mason Williams with 14 carries for 88 yards and a touchdown. Talan Haslip had six carries for 78 yards. Braden Stricklan had 15 carries for 76 yards and a touchdown.

Republic dominated time of possession in the game with a 29:34 to 18:26 advantage. The Tigers ran 23 more plays than Webb City.
Republic advances to face Carthage in the Class 5 District 6 championship game next Friday at Carthage.
