Western Missouri Coaches Fighting Cancer is set to host its second clinic at Greenwood Lab School on August 6th. The clinic will provide support to cancer victims and their families while also connecting local coaches in the area.
Marshfield head girls basketball coach Trish Marsh, a cancer survivor herself, helps organize the event and stopped by KY3 to talk with Sports Director Sully Engels about why this clinic goes deeper than the X’s and O’s.
Multiple speakers will present at the clinic, including keynote speakers Jamy Belcher and Lindsey Nadler. Belcher provides insight on maximizing leadership and Nadler is an expert on the mental side of sports.
