2026 All-O-Zone Girls Basketball Team

The All-O-Zone Girls Basketball team as voted on by the KY3 & OzarksSportsZone.com staff, is below. There are more than 100 girls basketball teams in the area, which makes this list extremely difficult to narrow down. We used many factors, including opposing coach observations, season stats, and staff observations to put together the list you see below.

Below is this year’s team with a first-team, second-team, and honorable mention. Each team is in alphabetical order after the Girls Player of the Year, Elsie Larsen.

FIRST FIVE

Elsie Larsen, Strafford (Player of the Year)

Larsen’s leadership was evident both on and off the court this season. On the court, the Colorado State signee averaged 17.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. Off the court, she was equally important. After suffering a season-ending knee injury in the district championship game, Larsen was on the bench supporting her team in any way she could on their way to a state title. The area has produced a long line of high-level girls basketball players, and Larsen is the latest in that group.

HONORS: Class 4 Player of the Year, First-Team All-MLC, Class 4 District 10 Player of the Year

Hailey Buckman, Logan-Rogersville

Buckman was a force for Logan-Rogersville as a versatile weapon all four years. Inside, she can go get rebounds with anyone, averaging 8.1 rebounds per game. But she was much more than a post threat. On the offensive end, she averaged 21.1 points per game, shooting 40% from three. Her versatility is a big reason she is set up to have success in her college career at Southeast Missouri State.

Kinley Larsen, Strafford

After sister Elsie Larsen saw her season end with an injury in the district title game, Kinley took her game to another level. Larsen averaged 20.9 points per game, but in the final three games of the season, she went for 31 against Nevada in the state quarterfinal, 32 against Cardinal Ritter in the state semifinal, and 31 against Doniphan in the state title game. She also averaged 8.5 rebounds per game in the final four, well above her season average of 3.5.

Anaya Perry, Kickapoo

Perry was one of the most respected players in the area. The junior earned both Conference and District Player of the Year honors. She is a game-changer in every facet, averaging 15.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 3 steals per game. She is also a strong three-point shooter, putting down 37% of her attempts.

HONORS: Class 6 All-State, COC East Player of the Year, Class 6 District 5 Player of the Year

Peyton Ward, Marshfield

Ward had the ability to take over any game at any time this season. The Lady Jays had some injuries during the season, but Ward was the steady presence for the team, averaging 20.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per game while providing strong leadership. She stretched the floor well, hitting 38% of her three-point shots. She was named Ozark Mountain Conference Player of the Year in a conference that features five other players on this list. The junior will be a leader of a Marshfield team with a lot coming back from a Class 5 third-place team.

Quinn Aldridge, Marshfield

Ryleigh Davis, Thayer

STATS: 25.3 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 4.2 apg, 2.7 spg, 87 made 3’s, 42.4% 3FG
HONORS: Class 3 All-State, SCA Player of the Year

Gillian Green, West Plains

STATS: 16.2 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 2.1 apg, 1.7 bpg, 46.8% FG
HONORS: Class 5 All-State, First-Team All-OMC

Chloe Jones, Willow Springs

STATS: 26 ppg, 6 rpg, 3 apg, 3 spg
HONORS: Class 3 All-State, First-Team All-SCA, Class 3 District 9 Player of the Year

Josie Salazar, Kickapoo

STATS: 10.7 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 2.1 apg, 3 spg
