Ahead of the opening of the NCAA transfer portal on January 2nd, Missouri State football got some good news. Two local products announced they would be staying with the Bears: Nixa’s Ramone Green Jr. and Reeds Spring’s Caden Wiest.

Green Jr. emerged as a potent offensive weapon for the Bears in 2025. He totaled over 700 yards of total offense and scored four touchdowns.
Wiest emerged late in the season as a weapon on the defensive line. He had two sacks and three tackles for loss over the final three games.
