Cole Camp boys basketball is poised to take a big step forward from last season’s five-win campaign.
“We have a lot of experience returning,” Cole Camp head coach Kevin Shearer said.
Senior guard Colton Dieckman returns after leading the team in scoring last season. He scored 7.7 points per game and tied for the team lead in assists with 41.
Fellow senior Ty Loganbill is also back and is a key defender.
Juniors Kolton Phillips, Blake Abey, Bovey Clark and Dash Kaiser along with sophomore Brett Burdick also return. Phillips and Abey each averaged 6.3 points per game. Kaiser contributed 3.5 points per game followed by Clark with 2.8 points per game.
Shearer identified Will Espey, Landon Bauer and Micah Davis as newcomers to watch.
Cole Camp opens the season Dec. 1-6 at the Warsaw Tournament.
