Missouri State football head coach Ryan Beard and Bears players Jacob Clark (Senior, QB) and Jaden Brooks (Senior, Linebacker) discuss the win over Liberty and the upcoming matchup with UTEP. Director of Athletics Patrick Ransdell also joined Monday’s press conference to discuss the Bears’ recent submission of a waiver to allow MSU to compete in a bowl game after their sixth win Sunday. As a team still in its transition period from FCS to FBS, the Bears are not allowed to compete in a bowl game unless this waiver is approved or there are not enough teams across the country that reach the six-win mark.
