Liberal volleyball’s second trip to the final four, and first since 2011, finished with a fourth-place trophy after the Bulldogs fell 3-0 (25-11, 25-17, 25-19) to Northland Christian in the third-place match.
Ally Barton led Liberal with eight kills followed by Tegan Dyer with seven. Barton also keyed the defense with 10 digs followed closely by Braylen Frieden with nine. Sadie Meadows had 19 of the team’s 22 assists.
Liberal finishes the season with an 18-10 record overall.
