Springfield Central is back at state for cross country for the first time since the mid-90s. They’ll take the boys’ team and a few individual girls to the Class 4 meet. It’s something head coach Jake Burch has hoped for since taking over the program, and although there’s more work to be done, he feels the momentum is building at Central.
