State golf wrapped up at four locations across the state on Tuesday. Two area golfers brought home individual titles, each for the third straight time while three teams brought home team trophies.
CLASS 4
Glendale’s Page Bowman completed a three-peat to end her career by winning the Class 4 championship with a two-day total of 141. She was steady throughout with a 71 to lead after one day on Monday followed by a 70 on Day 2.
Bowman carded six birdies and seven bogeys over the two days.
In the team competition, Springfield Catholic caught fire on Day 2 to shoot up the leaderboard from seventh to second. The Lady Irish shot a 345 on the first day before carding a 315 on the second day. That 315 was the best team round for any team in any class over the past two days.

Grace Tiedemann placed fifth to lead Springfield Catholic with a 79 in round one and a 72 in the second round. Ava Tiedemann placed 15th (78-80 – 158), Sarah Han was 41st (93-80 – 173), Olivia Tiedemann (53rd – 95-83 – 178) and Brinley Scott (95-94 – 189) rounded out the Catholic team.
Ozark’s Josey Roberts placed fourth with a 148 over two days including a 73 on the first day and 75 on the second.
Carthage’s Addison Foust (82-71 – 153) placed seventh overall.

CLASS 3
Bolivar’s Delaney Daniels led the area in Class 3 placing second overall 12 strokes back of individual champion Anna Bell from Poplar Bluff. Daniels shot an 84 on the first day but bounced back in round two with a 75. Teammate Abilene Anderson also earned all-state honors placing 11th overall with a 174 shooting back-to-back 87s.
As a team, Bolivar placed sixth overall with an 800 over the two days.
Springfield Central’s Phoebe Lin placed fourth overall with a 162 going 84 on the first day and 78 on the second day. Camilla Lu gave Central two all-state finishers with a two-day total of 183 (93-90) placing 18th overall.
Central placed seventh as a team with an 812.
The Carl Junction duo of Lyric Belcher (20th – 184) and Rylie Matyi (22nd – 185) rounded out the area’s top 25 finishers.

CLASS 2
Strafford brought home a team trophy from the Class 2 state tournament placing third overall with a 788. The Lady Indians placed two in the top 25 with McKenna Peterson taking eighth with a 181 (93-88) and Delainie Hedger in 24th with a 191 (95-96). Chesney Beckler (40th – 202), Harper Jacobs (56th – 214) and Camryn Zbaren (66th – 222) also contributed for Strafford.
Mt. Vernon’s Emily Schubert was the area’s top finisher tying for fourth with a 175 (86-89). Reeds Spring junior Saylor Johnson (15th – 186) also placed in the top 25.
Mountain Grove took ninth in the team competition paced by Chloe Slagle in 54th place.

CLASS 1
Ash Grove’s Rylee Allred dominant career continued with her third consecutive individual title. The junior led by three strokes after a first round 78. She followed that up with a 74 in round two to win the title by eight strokes with a 152.
El Dorado Springs also brought home hardware placing third overall as a team with a 790. The Bulldogs shot 413 on the first day. On Day 2, El Dorado Springs was the best team in the field shooting a 377. That was the lowest round of any team in the tournament for either the first or second round.
Sage McCullough (15th – 193) and Skylyn Gibbs (17th – 194) led El Dorado Springs. Gabrielle Boch (26th – 198), Tilar Witt (34th – 205) and Kyndal Swopes (78th – 234) rounded out the El Dorado Springs team.
School of the Ozarks sophomore Laylah Bates placed fifth (90-84 – 174) with Liberty’s Kameryn Wood placing sixth (89-87 – 176).
