The 2025 All-O-Zone Baseball team has been released.
Many factors were used to decide the players listed below.
The biggest factor in narrowing down the players on this list was coach input. I asked coaches to submit names of their own players they thought should be included while also giving me names of players on opposing teams that stood out. TO BE ELIGIBLE, A PLAYER’S OWN COACH MUST HAVE NOMINATED THEM. Opposing coach nominations carried heavy weight in the decision-making process. Baseball teams play more than 25 games a year seeing hundreds of opposing players, so if a player stood out enough for a coach to mention them as one of the best they saw, it carried weight in our decision-making process.
Stats and postseason honors (all-league, all-conference, all-state) were also heavily considered in the process.
While I did not personally see every player in person on this list, someone who covers games for the O-Zone did and I used both my observations and theirs to narrow down the list.
Finally, baseball is the most difficult All-O-Zone team to do based on the sheer number of players in our coverage area and the unpredictability of the sport. There are more than 110 teams in our coverage area and just 50 spots on this team. A conservative average of 15 varsity players per team means roughly 1,650 players would be eligible for consideration. Narrowing that list down to only 50 players is a very difficult task.
Below you will find a first, second, and third nine for a top 27 with 23 honorable mention players. Names on each team are presented in alphabetical order with the exception of player of the year.

FIRST NINE
Sebastian Norman, Glendale (Player of the Year)

Norman has been a staple on the national baseball scene for several years earning invites to countless national events. This season, the area got a front row seat to the prodigious power that makes Norman one of the top high school baseball prospects in the country. He set a Glendale record with 10 home runs posting a 1.420 OPS against a stacked schedule. He also had seven doubles and a triple to tally 18 total extra base hits. Recently at an MLB Draft Combine, Norman had six swings with an exit velocity of 108 MPH or better with a top exit velocity of 113.8. More than just a bat, Norman was dominant in limited innings on the mound with 19 strikeouts in 8.2 innings pitched with a 0.81 ERA. Norman is signed with Oklahoma State.
STATS: .366 AVG, .505 OBP, 1.420 OPS, 7 2B, 1 3B, 10 HR, 19 RBI, 25 runs, 11 SB; 8.2 IP, 2-1, 3 SV, 19 K, 0.81 ERA
HONORS: Class 6 First-Team All-State DH/Utility; COC East Player of the Year
Brody Crane, Neosho

The COC West was loaded with pitching this season, and Crane was picked as the best as the COC West Pitcher of the Year. The junior Arkansas commit used his low-90’s fastball to strikeout 75 across 43.1 innings with a 1.93 ERA to help the Wildcats win 20 games for the first time in more than 15 years. He allowed a .130 batting average against. He was far from one-dimensional with a .901 OPS, 13 extra base hits, 23 RBI and 18 runs scored at the plate.
STATS: 43.1 IP, 4-2, 75 K, 1.93 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, .130 BAA; .275 AVG, .388 OBP, .901 OPS, 13 XBH, 23 RBI, 18 runs
HONORS: Class 6 Second-Team All-State Pitcher; COC West Pitcher of the Year
Karson Durnin, Camdenton

Karson is the youngest of a trio of D1 brothers with his older brothers Kam (Wichita State) and Kade (TCU) also going on to play D1. Karson will be following Kam to Wichita State and he proved he is deserving of that opportunity in his senior season. Camdenton won the district tournament as a No. 4 seed with Durnin throwing 13 innings with 19 strikeouts yielding just two runs while hitting .429. He completed the season unbeaten at 6-0 on the mound with 75 strikeouts across 52.1 innings. He was productive out of the leadoff spot with a .976 OPS including 31 runs scored and 20 stolen bases. Durnin was named Class 5 First-Team All-State as a DH/Utility.
STATS: .350 AVG, .976 OPS, 9 2B, 5 3B, 1 HR, 14 RBI, 31 runs, 20 SB; 52.1 IP, 6-0, 75 K, 1.47 ERA, .155 BAA
HONORS: Class 5 First-Team All-State DH/Utility
Jackson Gamble, Nixa

Gamble played at a high level both ways against one of the area’s toughest schedules for Nixa. It says a lot that he earned his all-conference honors as a pitcher and his all-state honors as a DH/Utility. On the mound, Gamble threw 61.2 innings with 77 strikeouts and a 1.81 ERA on his way to Co-Pitcher of the Year honors in the COC East. At the plate, he mashed to the tune of a 1.007 OPS with 12 doubles and six home runs.
STATS: 61.2 IP, 7-2, 77 K, 1.81 ERA, .202 BAA; .330 AVG, 1.007 OPS, 12 2B, 6 HR, 32 RBI
HONORS: Class 6 Second-Team All-State DH/Utility, Co-COC East Pitcher of the Year
Levi Hilton, Willard

Hilton broke out in a big way as a junior with a dominant showing on the mound striking out 62 across 43 innings posting an ERA and WHIP below 1.00 for one of the area’s and state’s top teams. Head coach Scott McGee called Hilton the best junior pitcher he has ever coached. Hilton also helped out a record-setting offense hitting .314 with 23 RBI. He earned Class 5 First-Team All-State and COC West honors as a pitcher.
STATS: 43 IP, 6-1, 62 K, 0.98 ERA, 0.86 WHIP; .314 AVG, 23 RBI
HONORS: Class 5 First-Team All-State Pitcher; First-Team COC West Pitcher
Colin Muldoon, Kickapoo

Muldoon is a pitcher in the truest sense of the word. The lefty sports a high-80’s fastball and works efficiently with the ability to pitch to contact. A great example of this was his game against one of the area’s best teams in Nixa. He went 7.2 innings giving up one earned run while striking out two. Pitching to contact allowed him to stay in the game long after other pitchers would have been pulled for pitch count rules. Muldoon, who will continue his career at Missouri Southern, was named to the Class 6 All-State team and COC East Co-Pitcher of the Year.
STATS: 51.2 IP, 5-1, 56 K, 1.63 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, .192 BAA
HONORS: Class 6 Second-Team All-State Pitcher, COC East Co-Pitcher of the Year
Wyatt Vincent, Nixa

Vincent was a three-sport standout for Nixa also playing key roles on the football field and basketball court, but it is the baseball field where his future lies. The Missouri State signee was a force at the plate. The speedy senior rewrote the Nixa record book for career numbers. This season, he posted a 1.194 OPS with 23 extra base hits. When he didn’t hit for extra bases, he was ready to take one via steal with 28 stolen bases.
STATS: .403 AVG, .480 OBP, 1.194 OPS, 15 2B, 2 3B, 6 HR, 34 RBI, 44 runs, 28 SB
HONORS: Class 6 First-Team All-State Outfielder, First-Team COC East Outfielder
Jase Wilkinson, Miller

Wilkinson is a singular talent and that was on display through the whole season. The sophomore left-hander was up to 94 MPH on the radar gun in the state semifinal round. That incredible fastball led to a staggering 156 strikeouts across 66.1 innings. That strikeout total is sixth most for a single season in MSHSAA history. His 16.462 strikeouts per seven innings also ranks sixth all-time in MSHSAA history. On the rare occasion a batter reached, he showed off a great move to first that led to 10 pickoffs. He was named Class 2 Player of the Year and Southwest Conference Pitcher of the Year.
STATS: 66.1 IP, 11-1, 156 K, 0.63 ERA, 10 pick-offs; .281 AVG, 15 RBI, 2 2B
HONORS: Class 2 Player of the Year, Class 2 First-Team All-State Pitcher; Southwest Conference Pitcher of the Year; Class 2 District 11 Player & Pitcher of the Year
Andrew Young, Webb City

Young earned COC West Player of the Year honors thanks to a great mix of power, speed and defense. He was consistently on base with a .500 on-base percentage against a Class 5 schedule. His speed and power mix was on constant display with eight doubles and seven triples. If he wasn’t already on third, he was ready to take the extra base with 31 stolen bases. His 55 hits are a Webb City single season record along with tied for 11th most in a single season in MSHSAA history. He also set Webb City records for single season and career triples. Head coach Andrew Doennig called Young one of the best defensive outfielders he has seen in high school baseball. Young backed up that assertion by tying Webb City’s record for career fielding percentage.
STATS: .440 AVG, .500 OBP, 1.140 OPS, 8 2B, 7 3B, 1 HR, 17 RBI, 39 runs, 31 SB
