Drury slides to No. 20 in latest national rankings

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.–  The Drury Lady Panthers are ranked 20th in this week’s NCAA-II coaches’ poll. Drury is 8-2 and went 1-1 last week with a win over William Jewell and a one-point loss to Southwest Baptist.

Ashland (8-0) remained the number one ranked team in NCAA-II, while Grand Valley State (7-0) is ranked second and Central Missouri (8-0) is third.

Drury is in the only Great Lakes Valley Conference team in the top 25 this week. Four teams in the Midwest Region are ranked, however. In addition to Ashland and Grand Valley State, Ferris State (5-1) is ranked 10th in the nation.

The Lady Panthers are idle this week, but return to action on Tue., Dec. 19 when they host Missouri Southern in a 6 pm game in the O’Reilly Family Event Center.
