The Central Ozark Conference released a statement announcing the admittance of Kickapoo and Glendale for the 2024-25 school year.
Kickapoo and Glendale’s admission bring the conference membership back to 10 after the departure of Carl Junction and Branson to the newly formed Ozark Mountain Conference earlier this month.
The new COC will feature Carthage, Joplin. Nixa, Neosho, Ozark, Republic, Webb City and Willard in addition to Kickapoo and Glendale.
The duo leaves the Ozark Conference which still has Central, Parkview, Lebanon, Camdenton, Waynesville and Rolla as members. The future of the Ozark Conference and the conference affiliation of the athletic programs within it is unclear at this time.
