Everton volleyball will look to bounce back from a three-win season behind new head coach Jennifer Davis.
“We have a very young talented team with a new coach,” Davis said. “The freshman team has been playing together for a while now, so integrating them in with the high school returning players will be the goal to our success.”
Senior Abi Bassett returns to her libero position. Sophomores Olivia Sartin and Alexis Daniels along with junior Robin McCray also return.
Freshmen Emma Sutton, MaKiya Heim, Kynlee Bryant, Autumn Gilmore, Audrey Wilson and Kenzie Peebles will look to make immediate varsity impacts.
Everton opens the regular season on Aug. 25 at home against New Covenant.
“These girls have so much talent I’m excited for this coming year,” Davis said. “This freshman team is really going to complement the returning players we have.”
