Former Kickapoo golf standout, Gaige Lewis, has qualified for the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship.
Lewis shot a 3-under 69 at a U.S. Junior Amateur qualifying event in Alton, IL. Tuesday.
Lewis is one of 264 qualifiers out of nearly 4,000 golfers who attempted to make the tournament.
The future Drury Panther finished Tied for 27th at the Class 5 State Tournament in May.
The U.S. Junior Amateur Championships are in Charleston, S.C. from July 24-29.
