Former Mt. Vernon girls basketball star Lacy Stokes has entered the transfer portal.
Stokes confirmed the news to KY3 Sports and Ozarks Sports Zone Tuesday morning.
The former Lady Mt’Neer has played her first two college seasons at Missouri Southern State.
She won 2021-22 MIAA Player of the Year and was also named 2022-23 WBCA Division II All-American honorable mention.
Stokes scored 2,132 points during her standout career at Mt. Vernon. She led the Lady Mt’Neers to a 2021 state runner-up finish during her senior season.
