SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Evangel University senior Josh Pritchett earned NAIA All-American second-team honors for the first time in his career on Tuesday.

Pritchett is Evangel’s first second-team or higher award winner since Korry Tillery earned the honor in 2014-15. Pritchett marks Evangel’s second consecutive All-American after Cade Coffman was an honorable mention last season.

The Rolla, Missouri, native was also named the Heart Conference Player of the Year as he helped lead the Valor back to the NAIA Tournament for the second consecutive season, Evangel’s first back-to-back appearance since 2014-15. Pritchett finished the season averaging 18.8 points per game and 3.6 assists per game to lead the Valor in both categories.

Pritchett currently ranks 14th in scoring all-time in Evangel history (1,555), 10th in three-point makes (175), 4th in assists (402), and 4th in steals (177).
