Five players score in double figures for Weaubleau in district quarterfinal win

No. 2 seed Weaubleau left no doubt in its district quarterfinal win over Greenfield scoring 37 points in the first quarter and 29 in the second quarter on the way to a 93-41 win. The Tigers led 66-10 at the half.

Eight different Weaubleau players scored in the game led by Gage Johnson with 23 points. Blane Durnell (16 points), Gunner Freeman (15 points), Zach Brown (12 points) and Keith Marquis (10 points) all scored in double figures for Weaubleau.

Andrew Mays led Greenfield with 13 points.

Weaubleau will face No. 3 seed Morrisville in the Class 2 District 13 semifinals on Wednesday at 7:30 pm in Ash Grove.
