Blue Eye uses balanced attack in district quarterfinal win over Fordland

No. 3 seed Blue Eye used a balanced attack on the way to a 69-37 win over Fordland in the Class 2 District 11 quarterfinals on Monday.

Blue Eye jumped out to a 27-8 lead after one quarter and expanded that lead all the way out to 64-28 after three quarters. Eight total Bulldogs scored in the game with six of them scoring between 6 and 15 points.

Logan Isbell and Colton Spinning each scored 15 points for Blue Eye to lead all scorers. Fordland was led by 10 points from Isaac Vickers.

Blue Eye advances to play SWCL rival Crane in the Class 2 District 11 semifinals at 7:30 pm in Wednesday in Galena.
