Kickapoo clinches share of Ozark Conference title with win over Bolivar

Kickapoo locked up at least a share of the Ozark Conference title with an 87-53 road win over Bolivar on Tuesday. The Chiefs moved to 8-0 in conference play with two left. Bolivar sits in second place with two losses.

The Chiefs started fast and never looked back on Tuesday outscoring Bolivar 27-11 in the first quarter and 51-18 in the first half.

Kickapoo had four players score in double figures led by Harrison Doenning with 20 points. Brayden Shorter was just behind him with 19 points. Trae Oetting (15) and Landon Keisker (10) also scored in double figures.

Nine different Kickapoo players scored in the game.

Bolivar was led by Kyle Pock with 17 points. Kaden Griswold (14) and Mason Wilson (10) also scored in double figures for Bolivar.

Kickapoo can win the conference outright with a victory over either Hillcrest on Feb. 17 or Lebanon on Feb. 21.
