drury-5

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– Drury wrestler Peter Kuster is ranked second in the nation at 141 pounds, and the Panthers are ranked 23rd nationally in the latest NCAA-II poll.

Kuster is 12-2 this season, with one loss by medical forfeit and another to number one ranked Zeth Brower from Lander. The senior from Jefferson City, Missouri, has a tournament championship at Lindenwood and a runner-up finish at the Midwest Open hosted by Indianapolis so far this year.

The Panthers are tied for 23rd in the latest poll. Drury is even in points in the poll with Western Colorado and Chadron State. Central Oklahoma is ranked number one nationally, with Lander ranked second and Nebraska-Kearney is third.

Drury was scheduled to compete at William Jewell on Sunday afternoon, but the Great Lakes Valley Conference dual was postponed. It is expected to be made up at a later date.

The Panthers are on the mat again next Saturday at McKendree for a GLVC dual starting at 7 pm.
