Illinois State guard Paige Robinson made her return to Springfield Thursday night, scoring a game-high 22 points in an Illinois State win over the Missouri State Lady Bears.

Robinson spent four years scoring buckets and winning games for the nationally-ranked Drury Lady Panthers.

She won the 2021 Division II National Player of the Year award.

After graduating from DU, Robinson transferred to ISU e to finish her college basketball career close to her hometown of Bethany, Ill.

Robinson says the adjustment from DII to DI has been tough. Still, she’s adapted quite well as she leads the Missouri Valley Conference in scoring.
