David Kocher posted a tournament record of 28-under par to capture the 2022 Price Cutter Charity Championship.

Kocher opened the tournament with a round of 63 to share the lead with two other golfers. He followed that with rounds of 66, 65, and 66 to finish at 28-under. The total breaks the previous tournament record of 27-under, which was set by last year’s champion, Dylan Wu.

Kocher is one of just five golfers to ever shoot 28-under or better in a Korn Ferry Tour event according to PGATour.com.

The former Maryland Terrapin made one bogey in each of the first three rounds before posting a bogey-free final round. He also knocked in five birdies on the front nine of his Sunday round.

The win is Kocher’s second career Korn Ferry Tour win and moves him within striking distance of the Korn Ferry top 25. The top 25 golfers on the Korn Ferry Tour earn their PGA Tour cards at the end of the season.
