State baseball draws 10,033 fans over six days

The MSHSAA state baseball tournament at US Ballpark in Ozark drew 10,033 in paid attendance over six days last week according the MSHSAA Communications Director Jason West.

All six classes played their semifinal and place games from Monday, May 30 through Saturday, June 4. The following teams won state titles:

Class 6: Liberty North
Class 5: Platte County
Class 4: Southern Boone
Class 3: Father Tolton
Class 2: Russellville
Class 1: St. Elizabeth

The Class 1 & 2 Spring State Softball tournaments were played at Killian Softball Complex on Monday, May 23 and Tuesday, May 24. That tournament drew 1,790 in paid attendance over two days.

State basketball in the winter drew a combined 33,086 over the two weekends.
