Former Logan-Rogersville basketball standout, Kanon Gipson, has announced his commitment to Missouri State basketball.
Gipson tells KY3 Sports he will be a preferred walk-on for Dana Ford’s team.
He made the announcement Thursday night via social media.

Gipson played a large portion of his high school senior season with fellow incoming Bears freshman, Jonathan Dunn.
Gipson finished his time at Rogersville in 2021 but re-classified to the Class of 2022. He then played a post-grad season for the Springfield-based ‘We Are United’ prep team.
Gipson earned Class 5 All-State honors for the 2020-2021 basketball season at Rogersville. He was also named to the 2021 All O-Zone team.
