SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— For the second week in a row, Drury guard Paige Robinson has been the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week.

Robinson averaged 25.5 points, eight rebounds, four steals, and 3.5 assists per game in Drury’s two games during the week of Nov. 29-Dec. 5. She also went a combined 19 for 20 from the free-throw line in the two games and connected on six three-pointers, going 6 for 14 from behind the arc.

In Drury’s Nov. 29 win at Missouri S&T, Robinson scored a season-high 32 points while going 4-for-5 from three-point range and grabbed eight rebounds in the win. She also became the fourth player in program history to surpass 1,700 career points in the contest and moved past former Lady Panther Bethanie Funderburke for third on the team’s all-time scoring list. On Saturday against Rockhurst, Robinson dropped in 19 points while pulling down eight rebounds, snaring six steals, and she dished out four assists.

The Bethany, Illinois, native was also the GLVC Player of the Week for Nov. 22-28, and this week’s honor was the sixth time in her career she’s won the league’s weekly award. Robinson was previously honored by the conference on March 1, 2021, Dec. 21, 2020, and Dec. 3, 2018.

The third-ranked Lady Panthers return to action on Thursday with an 11 am game against Harris Stowe State at the O’Reilly Family Event Center. The Thursday morning start is for Hiland Dairy Kids Day at the arena, an event attended by area elementary school students.
