KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After turning in a career day to lead Evangel in a memorable 27-point dismantling of Drury this past weekend, Cade Coffman has been selected the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, the league office on Monday.

- Averaged 28.5 points and 6.0 rebounds while shooting 54.3-percent from the floor in two Evangel wins last week
- Tallied 15 points, five boards and three assists in EU’s 77-66 win over Williams Baptist
- Went 14-of-23 from the floor to score a career-high 42 points against Drury, pacing an EU attack that shot 51.2-percent for the game to record the Valor’s first victory over its NCAA Division II cross-town rivals since January, 25, 1992
- Moved into Evangel’s top 20 career scoring list with his performance Saturday, passing Korry Tillery (1,324) for the No. 20 spot on the chart with 1,350 points
Evangel opens Heart Conference play Wednesday (Dec. 1) at 7:30 p.m., looking for its fifth-consecutive victory against Central Methodist in Fayette, Mo.
