Norwood upsets No. 1 ranked Crane to earn program’s first trip to final four

Norwood pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the night beating Class 2 No. 1 Crane 49-48 to earn a trip to the program’s first final four.
The game was close throughout with the game tied at 28 at the half and 37 after three quarters. The Pirates had just enough fending off Crane at the buzzer to claim the victory.
Garrett Davault (20) led all scorers with 23 points for Norwood.
Gavin McGraw (22) scored 12 points for Norwood.
Isaiah Smith (3) was the top scorer for Crane with 17 points.
Norwood advances to the Class 2 Final Four where the Pirates will face Campbell at 1 p.m. on Mar. 11 at JQH Arena.
