The El Dorado Springs girls won their first district title since 2016 by defeating Notre Dame de Sion 47-26 in the Class 4 District 13 title game.

The El Dorado Springs girls won their first district title since 2016 by defeating Notre Dame de Sion 47-26 in the Class 4 District 13 title game.
The Lady Bulldogs were ahead by just two points after the first quarter at 11-9. They blew the game open in the second quarter with a 15-4 advantage to take a 26-13 lead into the break.
Notre Dame de Sion tried to fight back after the break by winning the third quarter 9-4 to cut the deficit to single digits at 30-22. A 16-4 advantage in the fourth quarter gave El Dorado Springs the district title.
Macie Mays (13) led all scorers with 24 points for El Dorado Springs.
Reese Schaaf (23) also finished in double figures with 12 points.
El Dorado Springs (23-5) advances to the Class 4 state tournament. The Lady Bulldogs await the winner of the Class 4 District 13 championship game between St. Michael the Archangel and Oak Grove.
