Defending COC champs Joplin top Webb City for the second year in a row. Eagles have now won 16 straight regular season games. Joplin senior Nathan Glades finishes with 26-161-3. He also had a kickoff return for a TD. Sophomore WR Dante Washington 6-82-1 and junior QB Always Wright 15-19-2 in his first career start. Kansas State commit Devrin Weathers finished with 23-150-3 for Webb City, also adding a 97-yard kickoff return for a TD. He was joined by Cade Wilson (18-115-1) and Cole Gayman (20-108-1) in reaching the century mark.

Bryant Bull completed 15 passes for 228 yards and four touchdowns for Marshfield. Daylon Kanengieter carried the ball 15 times for 116 yards in the loss. Marshfield’s top receivers were Blake Anderson (157 receiving yards and a touchdown) and Landon Wilson (two touchdown catches).

Lockwood senior Max Schnelle finished with a pair of passing and rushing touchdowns for the Tigers. Also added an interception defensively. The game also marked the return of Lockwood legend Clay Lasater to the sidelines. It was LT’s first win versus Pierce City since 2016.
