Waynesville athletics have received approval to return to practices virtually starting on Aug. 24. Athletic practices were previously suspended until Aug. 31 after two students tested positive for COVID-19.
These practices will count towards the 14-day practice requirement. This will allow Waynesville football to host Camdenton for its Week 2 football game on Sept. 4. Previously, Waynesville football was not going to be able to play its first game until Sept. 11.
