The Billings girls will be experienced this season with six seniors leading along with returning junior leading scorer Bailey Groves. They will look to improve on last year’s eight-win season.

That senior group includes forward Elizabeth Gearing and guards Taylor Painter and Grace Seager.

Gearing was the leader of that group with 8.5 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Painter averaged 5 points and 3 assists per game.

Groves was the team’s lone all-conference selection after she averaged 12.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game as a sophomore.

Sophomores Lizzie Edwards, Grace Vesci, Hanna Verch and Sky Metscher round out the returning players. Every player that see the court for Billings saw varsity time last season.

“We should be pretty deep this year,” Billings coach Randy Towe said. “We have a lot of experience returning including all five starters which we hope helps us compete with a lot more teams.”

Towe hopes all the returning talent will help the Lady Wildcats improve on their 41.2-point-per-game average.

The Billings girls open the season on Nov. 19 at Miller.
