Mar. 3 Playoff Basketball Scores

The small class teams punched their tickets to the Final Four while the big class teams wrapped up their districts. Springfield will be hosting the Final Four for the small classes at JQH and Hammons Student Center.

Class 3 Boys Sectional

– Mountain Grove will face Charleston on Friday, Mar. 9 in the Class 3 semifinals

Class 3 Girls Sectional

Strafford 85, Licking 40 – FINAL – CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS – CLICK HERE FOR A RECAP/VIDEO
– Strafford won its 80th consecutive game. The two-time defending Class 3 champions will face Whitfield at 2:40 on Friday in the Class 3 semifinals.

Class 2 Boys Sectional

– Purdy advanced to the program’s first Final Four. The Eagles will face Hayti at 6:50 pm on Thursday night in the Class 2 Final Four.

– Skyline will defend its Class 2 state title starting at 3:30 pm on Thursday against Neelyville.

Class 1 Boys Sectional

Eminence 78, Advance 62 – FINAL – CLICK HERE FOR A RECAP
– Eminence avenged its lone loss of the season. The Redwings will face Chamois in the Class 1 semifinals at 6:20 pm on Friday.
Walnut Grove 87, Lakeland 66 – FINAL
– The Tigers will defend their Class 1 state title starting at 8:10 pm on Friday against undefeated North Andrew.

Class 1 Girls Sectional

Bradleyville 87, Scott County Central 55 – FINAL – CLICK HERE FOR A RECAP
– Bradleyville advanced to its first final four in program history. The Lady Eagles will face Glasgow at 11 am on Friday in the Class 1 semifinals.
Wheatland 69, Walnut Grove 66 – FINAL/OT
– The Wheatland girls upset Class 1 No. 1 Walnut Grove. They will face Mound City in the Class 1 semifinals on Friday at 12:50 p.m.
