Drury wrestling picked 4th in GLVC preseason poll

The Drury wrestling team is picked to finish tied for fourth in the in the Great Lakes Valley Conference preseason coaches’ poll.

McKendree finished first in the poll with five first place votes, Maryville was second with two first place votes. The Panthers were tied for fourth with Wisconsin-Parkside the poll.

Drury will enter their second year as an intercollegiate program. James Reynolds will also enter his second year as a collegiate head coach and guided the Panthers to a 3-6 record in duals and a 2-4 mark in the GLVC in their inaugural season. The squad has 33 on their roster for 2017-18.

Drury will host an intra-squad event tonight at 5:30 p.m. at Weiser Gym. Admission is free. Their regular season begins on Sunday, Nov. 5 with the Dan Harris Open hosted by Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan.
