Springfield Area Sports Hall of Fame inducts 2013 class

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The 27th class of the Springfield Area Sports Hall of Fame was enshrined Tuesday night at University Plaza in downtown Springfield.


The five person class included former Missouri State basketball great Winston Garland, two-time Olympic distance runner Jason Pyrah of Willard, long time football official Emry Dilday, the late Kickapoo girls basketball coach Stephanie Phillips and Glendale's all-time winningest basketball coach, the late Jack Roberts.
