Arkansas' D'Appollonio named SEC Special Teams POW

Alan D'Appollonio was named the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in the Rutgers game.

The Razorback long snapper made his first career interception on a fake punt in the first quarter. It would be a 24-yard reception on a fake that started on fourth and six from the Arkansas 49-yard line. Arkansas would cap off the drive with a field goal.

D'Appollonio has been perfect as a long snapper this year.

Arkansas would lose the game 28-24 after getting up 24-7 at one point.

The Razorbacks return home this Saturday to host Texas A&M and reigning Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Maziel.
