Week 4 Football Games

Nixa 35, Willard 0 - FINAL  -  CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS  -  CLICK HERE FOR STORY
   QB Jacob Karlson finished the night with 94 yards rushing for three touchdowns. Bryce Rohr breaks the 2nd half scoring drought with a 15-yard run. Nixa leads Willard 35-0, 2:52 left Nixa with just 141 yds of offense, but 3 of its TD drives have gone 22, 27 and 26 yards. Willard 66 total yds, 3 turnovers.  First bad news for Nixa. Lineman and wrestler Xyah Ra down with an injury. Nixa QB/DB Jacob Karlson with two rushing TDs and an INT midway through 1st quarter. Willard comes up short on 4th and 1 from its own 22, and Nixa scores 5 plays later.

Bolivar 48, Hollister 0 - FINAL-  CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS
     Arkansas QB commitment Rafe Peavey calls it a night. Final stats 13-16-195 passing, 4 TDs and 5-65 rushing, 2 TDs.  Bolivar's Rafe Peavey rushes in another touchdown for Bolivar, extending the Liberator's lead to 21-0. Peavey to Hunter Burks for a 22-yard TD pass. Rafe Peavey to Drew Legan long TD pass puts Bolivar up 7-0 on first play against Hollister.

Lebanon 38, Glendale 0 - FINAL  -  CLICK HERE FOR STORY
    Elza Evans put on a show for Lebanon, as the junior rushed for 292 yards on 12 carries, concluding the night with four touchdowns. The YellowJackets have started the 2nd half on an exciting note with an 80-yard TD run by Elza Evans - his 4th of the night.  Elza Evans has done it again, scoring his 3rd rushing TD of the night to put the YellowJackets up 21-0 over the Falcons in the second quarter.

Lamar 48, Mount Vernon 7 - FINAL  -  CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS
      Lamar rushed for 482 yards against Mount Vernon, as Levi Petersen led the way with 191 yards on 17 carries and four touchdowns.

Hillcrest 49, West Plains 21 - FINAL  -  CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS
    Hillcrest adds another score to open the 4th and leads 49-14 over West Plains. Turbo clock in effect. Matt Rush runs/jukes past most of the West Plains LBs and DBs, goes 40 yards for the score. Johnson continues onslaught, adding 40-yard TD run. Juwan Johnson with the 6-yard run to extend the Hornet's lead, 21-7. Loguen Lewis 48 TD run for Hillcrest.

Marshfield 50, Rogersville 23 - FINAL  -  CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS
       A 9-yd run by Rogersville's Jacob Schlesener cuts Marshfields lead to 26-16.

Reeds Spring 48, Buffalo 6 - FINAL  -  CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS
      The Wolves put on an offensive showcase at home.

Skyline 42, Pleasant Hope 13  -FINAL  -  CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS
       Dylan Mountain on a QB keeper from 7 yards out to put Skyline up 35-7 with 9:35 left in 3rd quarter.

Monett 34, East Newton 0 - FINAL
      Chase Brennan goes 53 yards on third and 10 for a Monett TD. Zach Hammond finds Jorge Meza in the end zone for a 23-yard Monett touchdown on fourth down.

Springfield Catholic 42, Fair Grove 20 - FINAL
     Skornia once again, from 5 yds out for an Irish TD. Catholic's Jones and Baron connect again, this time for 28 yds. Irish block a punt, score 3 plays later on 3-yard run by Skornia. Catholic's Jack Jones hits Nick Baron on a 34-yard strike. Cameron Skornia caps a 7-play, groundbound drive with a 2-yard dive to put the Irish on the board.

Seneca 26, Cassville 7 - FINAL
       Seneca's Braxton Graham had 36 carries for 201 yards, while Payton Rawlins was 16/23 passing for 189 yards.  A methodical, time consuming drive by Seneca ends with a Braxton Graham TD. The PAT is no good, but the Indians lead Cassville 20-7. Seneca QB Rawlins returns, and he leads the Indians on a TD drive. Braxton Graham goes in for the score.

MV-BT/Liberty 47, Ava 13 - FINAL
     Acklin was 15/19 passing for 224 yards, resulting in three touchdowns. Jaelon Acklin QB draw 59 yards to start 2nd half.  Liberty with 2 TD's called back because of penalties in the first half. Ava scores on a 14-play drive to get themselves on the board. Liberty Eagles throw 5 yard out that turns into 56 yard TD. Liberty Eagles block Ava Bears punt, returned for touchdown by Cody Smith.

Joplin 35, Rolla 7  - FINAL
      The Joplin Eagles improve their season to 3-1 after dropping Rolla by a 28-point margin. Norsworthy caps Joplin's 95yd drive with 1yd TD. Tristan Ash's TD run gives Joplin a 14-0 lead over Rolla with 4:07 left in first quarter.

Strafford 63, Stockton 22- FINAL
       Dalton Taylor 65 yd interception return for Strafford.

Carthage 42, Ozark 14 - FINAL
     Carthage QB Franklin finds Kennan Harrison for 6yd TD. Carthage QB Franklin cuts right, runs in from the 9. 2-point conversion throw to the left corner makes 21-14 over Ozark. Carthage RB Cameron Priester runs in the TD from the 11.

Kickapoo 21, Camdenton 19 - FINAL
      Cooper runs a filthy read option, keeps it himself and takes it 6 yards for the score. Carlock goes Calvin Johnson on the Chiefs in the end zone. Kickapoo leads 14-13. Camdenton's Kullen Carlock goes over two defenders to catch 18-yard TD from Dean  Anthony Cooper and the Chiefs come back trough the air. He finds Jay Green for a 38-yard TD. We are tied up at 7. Camdenton came out throwing, Bo Dean completes 4 straight culminating in a Dean-Carlock connection.

Mountain Grove 42, Willow Springs 28 - FINAL
     Mountain Grove's Bobby Otwell went 8/8 to make 214 passing yards and rushed for 127 yards. Ethan Moore runs in a touchdown for Mountain Grove late in the first half.

Branson 44, Neosho 35 - FINAL
    Dayton Bolton with a 2 yd TD run for Neosho. 31-21 Branson with 9:00 left in 3rd. After an INT by Bailey, Branson scores on the first play on a 37 yd pass from Ervin to Isaiah Daniels to make it 31-14 Pirates.  Da'Quan Ervin scrambles on the first play for Branson and goes 73 yards for a touchdown. Neosho's Austin Hailey with a 4 yd pass to Calvin Coon to make it 17-14 Branson with 5:59 left in the half. Jordan Bailey had a 91 yard kickoff return for the Pirates.  Branson kicker Jorge Cedeno hits a 33 yd field goal. After a long return on the opening kick, Branson's Jordan Bailey runs 31 yards for the touchdown on the second play of the game.

Houston 40, Cabool 36 - FINAL
       Cabool grabs their first lead of the season over Houston late in the second quarter.

Thayer 23, Salem 6 - FINAL
         67 yard touchdown run by Shelby Barton for Thayer 55 seconds into the game.

Rogers Heritage (Ark.) 52, Harrison (Ark.) 35 - FINAL
     Harrison gets the onside kick and scores five plays later. Humphrey throws a 10-yard TD pass to Huskey.  Harrison his a long pass play, then scores from one yard out to pull within 21-14 with 3:29 left in the half.

Webb City 49, Republic 6 -  FINAL
