Times for First Three Razorback Games Announced

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Game times and TV selections for the first three games of the Bret Bielema era at Arkansas were announced Tuesday.

The Razorbacks play their first game under Coach Bielema on Aug. 31 at 3 p.m. on FSN against Louisiana inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville. Coach Bielema is 7-0 in season-opening games as a head coach, and the Razorbacks have won six consecutive season openers. Arkansas owns a 4-0 advantage in the series, with all games being played in Fayetteville. In the most recent matchup, Arkansas earned a 24-17 victory in 2002.

Arkansas hosts Samford in Little Rock on Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. on pay-per-view. Additional information regarding the pay-per-view broadcast will be announced at a later date. The Razorbacks return to Fayetteville to host Southern Miss the next week at 11:21 a.m. on the SEC Network. Arkansas is playing Samford and Southern Miss for the first time in program history.

In addition to the first three games, it was announced earlier this summer that Arkansas’ game at LSU on Nov. 29 will begin at 1:30 p.m. and be broadcast nationally on CBS.
