In 1963, Repbulic won its first and only boys' State Basketball Title. In the video above you can see highlights from the 78-63 win over Bernie along with some post tournament celebration.

History on the video per Sue Brown:
The game was filmed, using two 8mm cameras with 3 min. reels, which had to be sent off for processing and splicing. Herbert Condrey, RHS teacher and senior Charles Brashers filmed the games. One would film while the other prepared the 2nd camera.A few years ago John Thurman sent the original film to St Louis and had it transfered to a tape. Recently Howard Arndt took the original film and had it put on HD disc. Filming is a little simpler now!'s David Brazeal added the graphics and got the video online.
