Drury men up to 11th in rankings



Drury's basketball Panthers jumped seven spots to No. 11 in this week's National Association of Basketball Coaches Top 25 Poll released on Tuesday.

The Panthers are 19-4 overall and riding an 11-game winning streak entering Thursday's regular season home finale against William Jewell at the O'Reilly Family Event Center (7:45 p.m. tipoff).

Drury is one of four, and the highest, ranking Great Lakes Valley Conference team in the poll this week. East leader Wisconsin-Parkside is 13th, Bellarmine 15th and Southern Indiana 16th.

Coach Steve Hesser's Panthers have two regular season games remaining after Thursday's home finale, visiting Rockhurst in Kansas City on Saturday and Missouri Science and Technology in Rolla on Feb. 28.
