Coach Steve Hesser's Panthers improved to 18-4 overall and 12-2 in the GLVC with their second straight victory at Quincy in a series where the home team had won 13 of the previous 15 matchups.
Drury's 10th consecutive triumph is its greatest string since the 2005-06 Panthers won 10 straight late in the season, Hesser's second season on the DU bench.
The Hawks - who became the sixth team held to 50 points or less this season by the Panthers, who lead the GLVC in scoring defense (61.5 points per game) - fell to 10-12 and 5-9.
This wasn't the sharpest of efforts by the Panthers until a second-half pullaway, aided by the fact that they limited the Hawks to just 15 points over the final 20 minutes.
Drury trailed 29-28 at halftime - the first time it was behind at the break since the Jan. 10 loss at Indianapolis - after leading by 12 points on a couple of occasions early. The Hawks finished the half on a 13-0 run as Drury not only went the final 6:35 without a point, but forced the Panthers into 15 first-half turnovers.
Drury finished with a season-worst 23 turnovers, offset by forcing the Hawks into 24 miscues.
"We didn't take care of the basketball, and then we gave them easy baskets," Hesser said of Quincy's late first-half surge. "We weren't able to move on from one play to the next, and we didn't move the basketball at all in the first half. But I'm proud of the guys ... went in at halftime and discussed some things, and they came out and responded. We played with energy, rebounded the ball, got some stops and had some very nice possessions in the second half."
Hall made five 3-pointers and pushed his career total to 339, moving within 12 of tying Matt Miller's school-record 351 treys. Hall, No. 7 on the DU career scoring charts, pushed his all-time points total to 1,886, moving within 24 points of No. 6 Collins Harris (1,910 from 2004-08) and within 34 points of No. 5 James Bone (1,920 from 1976-80).
Hall now has 85 points in his last three games, including back-to-back, 30-point efforts at home last week vs. UMSL and Maryville that netted him GLVC Player of the Week honors.
Brandon Lockhart finished with 12 points, six assists and five steals. Lockhart now has 457 career assists, moving past Tim Brown (453 from 2005-09) for sixth place on the DU all-time charts. He needs seven more to surpass the late Jerry Alexander (463 from 1975-79) for fifth.
The GLVC leader in FG percentage defense at .396, Drury held the Hawks to 34 percent shooting (17 of 50) and Quincy's lowest point total not only of this season, but at least back to the 2005-06 season (as far as their archived stats go).
Hall, Drake Patterson and Cameron Adams had six rebounds each to lead the Panthers to a 33-30 advantage on the boards.
Chris Babbitt had 15 points to lead Quincy, which - coupled with the Lady Panthers' 53-39 win over the Lady Hawks on Thursday night - was swept at home by Drury in a women's/men's GLVC doubleheader for the first time since the Panthers joined the GLVC in 2005-06.
