Ivy Reynolds scored 13 points off of the bench while Jackie Fugate added 9. Brie Tauai also came off the bench and chipped in with 8 points.
The Lady Tigers opened the game up on an 11-0 run and never looked back from there. They led 44-6 at half. Ozark collected 23 rebounds, 22 assists and 19 steals. Coach Yancey Little was very pleased with they bounced back from Saturday’s lackluster performance.
“I thought we had more energy tonight than we did on Saturday,” said Little. “I thought we came back and played with some solid energy, which is always a bonus, and that’s something we need to do every game.”
Along with her game high 19 points, Cook added five blocks and four rebounds. She wanted to make sure the team stayed on task and focused throughout the game.
Every player on the varsity roster for Ozark scored, including 31 points off the bench.
“We were fortunate enough that we had kids come off the bench and play a lot of minutes,” said Little. “They don’t get to play very much so it gives them a chance to get out there and play and work on things.”
Mariah Starks led the Lady Falcons in scoring with six points. Keri Cook added five points along with six rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot.
Glendale travels to Tulsa, OK for the Bixby Tournament on Thursday. Ozark’s next game is on Thursday as they play in the Tournament of Champions in Fort Smith, AR.
