SBU's Zelenka named MIAA Athlete of the Week



Kansas City, Mo. - Southwest Baptist's Jacqui Zelenka has been named the MIAA Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week for week four in the MIAA.

Zelenka helped lead the Bearcats to two wins during the week, earning double-doubles in both games. In SBU's 85-45 victory over Harris-Stowe, she tied a career high with 20 points and set a then career high with 13 rebounds for her first career double-double. She followed that up with a double-double in a 43-34 win over Illinois-Springfield with 17 points and a new career high 14 boards. For the week she averaged 18.5 points and 13.5 rebounds per game while shooting 65.4% from the field.
