2012 Outlook
Tim Looney averaged 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists last season and his production will be sorely missed, but the inexperienced Blue Jays will have to adjust quickly.
“We lost 80-percent of our scoring and rebounding to graduation and the incoming players will have to adjust to varsity basketball very quickly,” Taylor said. “They have a strong work ethic and I believe they can make that adjustment. I think we will be very competitive throughout the season.”
One strength the Blue Jays will have is a bit of size.
“We have good overall team size and hope to utilize that advantage,” Taylor said.
