Panthers roll in lone exhibition

Cameron Adams came off the bench to score 19 points and grab 12 rebounds in just 16 minutes of playing time, leading Drury to a 104-60 win over Hillsdale Baptist in the Panthers' lone exhibition game of the preseason Monday night at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

Adams hit 6 of 7 shots and 7 of 9 at the free-throw line, and showed his skills at the other end of the floor with two monster blocked shots for Drury, which led 47-29 at halftime.

Alex Hall added 13 points and freshman Kameron Bundy had 10 points and three assists for the Panthers, who shot 52 percent (35 of 67) from the floor and held the Saints to 17 of 49 shooting (35 percent).

Drury also claimed a 47-30 advantage on the boards, with Teddy Simniok and Ian Carter pulling down seven each and Josh Buie snagging six boards to go with his seven points in a balanced DU attack that saw 11 players tally five or more points.

The Panthers open the regular season on Saturday, playing host to University of the Ozarks in a 7 p.m. tipoff at The O'. Drury then plays host to Southwest Baptist on Tuesday, November 13 in the annual Bank of Bolivar "Highway 13 Catfight rivalry game.
