Evangel hits the road at Graceland

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Evangel travels to Graceland in a Heart of America conference game on Saturday. The Crusaders are 3-2 and 2-1 in the league following a 54-44 win over #6 Benedictine last week. Evangel has not won on the road yet this season with losses at #18 Baker and to NCAA-I (FCS) team Nicholls State.

Graceland is also 3-2 and 2-1 in the HAAC. The Yellowjackets won 28-20 last week at Peru State. Graceland’s only two losses have been against nationally ranked teams, at #15 Grand View (Iowa) 26-6 on Aug. 25 and at home against #6 Benedictine 48-0 on Sept. 22.

Evangel leads the all-time series 17-7 but has lost their last four games at Graceland with their last win in Lamoni coming in 2001.
