KSPR Game of the Week - September 28th

The KSPR Game of the Week for September 28th features a pair of Spring River Valley Conference contenders; Miller (5-0) at Pierce City (3-2).  KSPR personalities Joe Daues and Kevin Lighty will be on hand Friday night with live reports during the 4:00 and 6:00 news.  Hugh Keeton will also have a live preview of the game at 6:00, along with highlights of the game at 10 on KSPR and 11 on the Ozarks CW.

Miller is averaging 42.8 points per game during its undefeated start, but faced its toughest game to date last Friday, edging Lockwood 42-36.  The Cardinals are led by 4th year head coach Dustin Baldwin, whose offense features 2-year starting quarterback Dalton Gulick and talented receiver Derrick Estell.

Pierce City has dropped back to back games after a 3-0 start.  The Eagles, under 1st year head coach Matt Holt, are averaging 36.2 points per game.  Senior running back Cedric O'Hara scored both touchdowns in the Eagles' most recent loss to Diamond.  The former Pierce City quarterback is having a big season at his new position.

Look for live reports on OzarksSportsZone.com Friday night and tune in to KSPR Thursday night at 10 for a preview of the matchup, including a look at Pierce City's long time public address announcer.
